Post 6: Postgraduate Studies

I had never really thought about studying after finishing my degree. I don't like doctorates and magisters, but now that I think about it, what I would like to do is specialize me in biogeography. I love biodiversity in general and above all flora, I love it. I would like to study in Chile, in some more southern university, in the south there is a lot of diversity and beautiful species. I would like to study and live a full-time study. I would love to leave Santiago and better if it is to study. I really wish this plan to work, however I am aware that everything can happen, I have 2 years to finish the race and maybe when I finish I am not interested in the same subject or I like other things, or maybe I specialize in several things hahaha. I also like glaciology, its a very difficult i think, but I could still accept it as a challenge, although I might want to live far from my current home and I think I would miss many things but it would be an interesting way to go. Post 5: My future job

I’m studying geography because I like nature and also being in contact with people, My ideal job would be to engage in socio-environmental conflicts. I excited to help people defend their territory and fight with them. Plainly, I can't imagine working in a office, I it seems too boring and monotonous. I would like to be constantly traveling throughout Chile, informing myself and investigating conflicts in the territory. The topics that seem most interesting to me are, water scarcity, hydroelectricity, deforestation. I study geography and for me it was very difficult to decide on a specialty, at first I liked coastal geomorphology and glacial geomorphology, and I wanted to work on that, but it was this year that the social side of geography began to interest me, when I had the environmental geography course, and I decided that would be my ideal job. Post 4: My favorite TV show

The true is that I dont like watching TV show, I'm too lazy to be in front to TV. But last year I watched a TV show that is very very interesting and funny. This TV show is "Aquí no hay quien viva", this show is a Spanish comedy, consisting in the different neighbors of a building. They are very different from each other, this causes that their personalities come into conflict. My favorite character is Lucía, She has a relationship with Roberto and they live together, she has a very strong personality and is very funny and friendly, she is the best character because she argues with gossing neighbor. My favorite episode is when Lucía and Roberto end their relationship. This episode is very funny because they live together and Lucía throws him out of the house, and the next week he rent the apartament upstairs. She gets mad at him and they argue every day. This TV show is very famous in Spain and has many awards, this TV show is broadcast internationally but I watched it o

POST 3: My best friend

Hi everyone, today I'm going to talk about my best friend she is schoolmate, we studied in a school in Maipú but she lives far from me, she studying now make up and hairdresser, this career is very very funny for me, I like to much and it make me happy that she is studying that. We were friend for a many years, however  we stopped seeing always for the distance, also I entered to university and I didnt have much time. However I have good memories with she, many partys, many laughs, many conversations and many times we cry together.  Now in the University, I have made many good friends, Carla and Belen are my best friends nowadays. They are very understanding and affectionate with me, Carla lives in Maipú very close to me and Belen lives in Estación Central, we always get together to drink beer in the park and talk about the life. I love my friends, they are very important for me, they have helped me a lot to overcome my problems, they make me laugh a lot and take care of me

Post 2: The Best Concert ever

When I was 12 years old I was to Movistar Arena I heard a concert of Panic At the disco band, this band I dont like but I went for take my best friend Loreto, she is fanatic this band, she love vocalist Brendon Urie, I think he is so uglyy haha. I dont like go a concert because they are very noisy, but a concert is a funny moment  also you can meet with your friends or your family and enjoy all day. This day we arrived very early to Parque Ohiggins, and there were many people, all people be so happy in this place and I had very hot and bored in the queue, this concert was in November. Anyway when started this concert I found the song is very original and I like this songs, but I wouldn't go again because go a concert is very expensive.  I never go a concert of my favorite music, my favorite band is Soda Stereo and my favorite singer is Gustavo Cerati, but go a concert this band is impossible :( and this is very sad. Also, I like Pink Floyd but Roger Water concert is very exp

Hi, my name is Camila Tapia, I'm 22 years old, I'm a four grade Geography student at the University of Chile, I love my career because it is very integral discipline and necessary . I dont know how to speak English, it is very difficult for me and I dont like it, but I hope learn this lenguage because it is very important for the laboral life.  My weaknesses is speak this lenguage because I dont have vocabulary and speak english is shameful for me, and my strengths is read, this is more easy for me.
